  Adoptive Parents - International Adoption

The Cradle's International Adoption Home Study Program is a great choice for many families. Rather than limit our scope to focusing only on a few countries, The Cradle will prepare a home study to help you adopt from any country where adoption is permitted. Since 1985, our international adoption program has helped hundreds of children from around the world find loving homes -- from Guatemala to China, Russia to South Korea, and more.

We offer workshops to help prepare you for the process of international adoption as well as exploring the joys and challenges of cross-cultural adoptions. At The Cradle, you will be fully informed, educated and supported at every step, even after your child is home.

Join our online Community Forum, to meet other Cradle international adoptive families, find support and stay connected.

COA The Cradle is fully accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services (COA). COA accreditation is both a significant achievement and a powerful promise. It means that we have met rigorous internationally recognized standards of excellence in the quality of services and organizational operations.

In 2008, The Cradle was among a select group of agencies in the US to receive a 5-year COA accreditation status with respect to the Hague Convention on Inter-country Adoption. This 5-year accreditation term, the highest level granted, reflects the quality of our practice and continued commitment to children and families both here and abroad.
