Hi. My name is Edd, and that quote was from my mother talking about the most important smell in my house around Thanksgiving when I was a child. Though baking pies was always my dad’s job, mom was the one to pass on the tradition, the one who let us know what made our family unique. One of the things about being a parent I’m most excited about is sharing new and old family traditions, in the hope that even 30 years later my child will remember the great smells from those special days.
