Hello, we’re Ed and Rufus, and we look forward to introducing ourselves to you and telling you a little about our journey toward fatherhood. We have been together for a little over ten years, and we adopted our son Michael in May of 2010. From the beginning of our relationship we have always known that we wanted to raise kids. We weren’t sure how or when it would happen, but we both come from large and loving families and knew that our hopes and dreams would include a life with our own children. Michael has made that hope a reality and we have enjoyed the experience so much, we’re looking forward to expanding our family with the adoption of a second child. We are excited for you to learn more about our family and our hopes for an open adoption.
