Hi!  We are Anne and Michael and we have two kids named Sofia and Nicolas “Nico”.  We can’t wait to bring another child into our family!  Sofia and Nico are very excited to have a little sister or brother. When we ask them if they are going to help care for the new baby, there is a chorus of “yes” (except for the part about changing poopy diapers). Although Sofia and Nico were not adopted, open adoption is especially appealing to us because of the ways it can strengthen ties across families
