Before we met, Joel spent three years living in Dublin, Ireland, and every once in awhile he speaks a bit like an Irishman.
While in Ireland he danced briefly with (U2's) Bono's wife, Ali, at a friend's birthday party. He likes to get down and dance funky (he's a really good dancer!).

In college Joel dyed his hair blue several times.

His favorite foods include kosher hot dogs, pretty much anything chocolate, and anything his father-in-law cooks for him.
Joel loves word games like Scrabble, Boggle, and crossword puzzles
