We recognize how important it is to maintain healthy relationships and attitudes related to your adoption experience. WE provide post adoption support that focuses on emotional wellness, effective communication and interpersonal relationships. Our experienced adoption counselors can work with individuals, couples and families int he adoption circle at any stage of their life.

Following are some common examples of the type of support we provide

• Open adoption & communication support between adoptive family and birth family
• Communication support between adoptive parent and children
• Change in sibling interactions
• New stage of childhood or adult development
• Disagreements with spouse over rearing of adopted child
• Decision to search for birth relative*
• Requests for contact from a birth relative
• Learning of the death of a birth relative

Counseling Session in Person $110/hour
Counseling Session by Phone $110/hour (prorated by 1/2 hour)
Mediation at The Cradle $110/hour

Please note we can provide counseling related to searching for birth relatives for any member of the adoption circle, however our Search & Reunion services are only available to those whose adoption was handled through The Cradle.
