Helpful Items for Birthparents
Our
birthmothers can always use CTA transit cards, Jewel or Dominick’s
gift cards, and gift cards for maternity clothes. The Cradle will
receive your donated cards and distribute them to birthparents to assist
with transportation, food and clothing expenses.
The Cradle Nursery Wish List
Essential
items, such as crib sheets, are always needed in The Cradle Nursery. Check
out our Nursery wish list at www.babiesrus.com. Click
on Baby Registry, enter “Nursery” under Last Name and “Cradle” under
First name (or registry #38239811), and hit Find it!
Training & Development Wish List
- A digital video camera for recording adoption education classes. Following
are links for two models, the Sony
DVD Handycam and Samsung
D453 Digital Video Camera, that can be purchased at Target.
- A mini-fridge, new or used, for The Cradle’s lower level classroom. Available
at Target, click here.
- Bar stools or counter stools for guest families to sit on – and be seen – while presenting at training sessions (we can always use more!).
