Adoptive Parents - Want to get started? - Attend an Introductory Informational Meeting

The first step in the adoption process is to attend one of the information meetings listed below. If you are new to adoption and still wondering about which program may be right for you, the General Adoption meeting is a great place to start. At that meeting we will introduce you to the international and domestic process including our Sayers Center for African American Adoption. We'll talk about the children available for adoption in the US and throughout the world and introduce you to open adoption. At the end of the presentation, we'll take time to answer any questions you may have.

Sayers meetings are designed for families who may have already researched their adoption options and have a specific interest in one particular program. At these meetings we will go into more depth regarding program specifics.

The Cradle provides home studies for prospective adoptive families living in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties in Illinois.
