The Children
Korean adoption has been an extremely popular option for Cradle families. Children become available in Korea primarily because of the economic disadvantages of their birth family or the social stigma of single parenthood. Children are placed in foster care until they are ready to travel and the adoption paperwork is complete. Korea is recognized for its high quality of medical and foster care. Referral information typically includes information regarding the birthparents as well as the child's medical and developmental history.
