Hello birthparents! We are Libby, Angie and Jacob. Our family started almost twenty years ago, when Libby and Angie fell in love while studying in Europe. We have been in a committed relationship ever since. Our love and family grew in 2006 when we adopted our son, Jacob. Hello, we are Michelle, Josie, & Brandon!
For as long as we have known each other, we have dreamt of having a family and eagerly awaited the day we would become parents. Our dreams came true when we brought home our son in 2008 and today we are still dreaming about our future family. We can hardly wait to meet the new little person who will join us. Being parents has brought tremendous joy to our lives and we are ready and excited to grow our family again through adoption.

37 years ago, Robin’s family had to make an adoption plan for her cousin when he was three years old. He was placed with a wonderful adoptive family who practiced openness before it became the norm for adoptions. They always made sure he was at our holiday gatherings and family celebrations. Our family became part of their family, which made a very difficult situation a little easier. As the birth family, we appreciated this so much! This experience has truly given us a unique perspective on adoption and the importance of openness. We cannot begin to understand how overwhelming this must be for you. Choosing just the right family for your child must be so hard. Without knowing the right words to say, we will just wish you peace while you make this decision. |

Aaryn hears this question from Tom nearly every morning, noon or night. The answer really isn’t as important to Tom as it is for him to know Aaryn is thinking about our favorite time of the day. It also allows Tom to combine his passion for planning with creativity in the kitchen. The end result can be a simple burger or a stew that cooks all day on Sunday or an elaborate spread for friends and family. The point is that it symbolizes how we spend time together, how we take care of each other and value the warmth and comfort of a home-cooked meal.
