Felicia McBride, MPA
Community Outreach Manager
Felicia has many years of experience working in the child welfare field. She has previously worked for non-profits, foundations and government agencies such as the Illinois Action for Children, the Annie E. Casey Foundation and the Illinois Department of Human Services. At The Cradle Society, she provides education and training to both health care professional and community leaders about the realities and issues facing adoption. Karin Peterson, LCSW
Community Outreach and Education
Karin has held several positions within The Cradle since earning her Masters in Social Work from Boston College in 1994. She prepared adoptive parents for adoption, provided options counseling to expectant parents and supervised The Cradle's Birthparent Services program for eight years. Currently, Karin is enjoying bringing her experience and commitment to best practices in adoption to her role in Community Outreach and Education by offering training and support to professionals interfacing with women and men considering the option of adoption.
