Lifelong Adoption Support
For all members of the adoption circle, the experience of adoption weaves through normal growth and development and affects people in many ways throughout their lifetime. The Cradle is committed to providing comprehensive lifelong support to birth parents, adopted persons and adoptive families. The post adoption services we offer fall into two categories:
Background Information and Making Connections
The Cradle assists adult adopted persons, birth families and adoptive families in obtaining necessary background and medical information and in reaching out to make connections. These services are available only for those involved in adoptions handled by The Cradle. Learn More
Consultation and Workshops
The Cradle provides professional counseling, consultations, workshops and relationship and open adoption support for members of any adoption circle. We work with individuals and families at any time after adoption to provide the emotional and communication support that meets their changing needs. These services are available to all members of the adoption circle whether they worked with The Cradle or not and whether the adoption was recent or long ago. Learn more
