Sometimes it feels like nobody else understands how you feel. It might be regarding adoption, infertility, parenting, your marriage, figuring out your place in the world, or another relationship issue. It could also be about self-esteem, loss, grief, trust or attachment. At The Cradle we have professional counselors who understand and are skilled at addressing these concerns. Group Meetings: The Post Adoption Support Group is a forum for birthmothers and adult adopted persons from closed adoptions to get together to share and discuss the searching and reuniting process, the continuing effects of adoption on one’s life, grief and loss. It also offers the opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences and insights. The group is facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker.
