In the video on this page, Jessica, a birthmom shares her story and offers some advice: When I first found out I was pregnant, it was terrifying, you know, I ignored it, I went on pretending it wasn’t happening, but I was terrified. I had just been kicked out of my house, was living with my boyfriend, was, you know, working a small job, still trying to go to college with, just finished a season of volleyball. We decided to go with adoption when we were turned down for an abortion that I was too far along. So the first thing I did was get home that day and start searching about adoption.
