The Cradle Cares Humanitarian Assistance Program provides direct relief and assistance to orphanages and baby houses in the 20 regions in Russia in which The Cradle works. Regions that receive funding submit receipts and photographs documenting the successful completion of the funded project, insuring that funds donated to The Cradle Cares program actually make a specific difference in the lives of children in Russia.

How have the funds been used?
The requests for assistance are heartbreakingly basic - one three-story orphanage requested funds for fire evacuation equipment. Another needed cribs. Others asked for money to purchase space heaters or to repair inadequate plumbing facilities.
