Be among the elite and visit the nation’s largest auto show, before
it is open to the public, and party with The Cradle in our
private reception room.
Join us for an evening filled with fun, food and drink (and,
of course, CARS) to raise money and awareness for The Cradle’s programs
and services for birthparents, adoptive parents and adopted persons. First
Look for Charity benefits The Cradle and 17 other area charities.
The Cradle’s Private Reception will feature:
- Cocktails and hearty hors d’oeuvres (on the show floor and in
our reception room)
- Music and dancing
- Fun games to win exclusive prizes
- A unique silent auction
- A Cradle guest-only coat check
Everyone who attends First Look for Charity will have
a chance to win a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro or a 2009 Kia Borrego. Prize
vehicle winners must be present.
The driving force behind The Cradle’s involvement in First Look is Bill Stasek, owner of Bill Stasek Chevrolet in Wheeling and a Cradle adoptive parent of two with his wife, Linda. Bill will once again chair The Cradle's First Look for Charity committee, which sold over 400 tickets to last year’s event and solicited donations to our raffle and auction.
Walgreen Co. has generously underwritten The Cradle reception at First Look since 2002. Thanks to the wonderful support and participation of many individuals and organizations over the past 14 years, First Look has generated nearly $1.3 million for The Cradle.
Thank you to our generous sponsor
