I've "caught" three babies all on my own!  I still glow from the experience.  (I was a labor & delivery nurse for eight years.)

I've always wanted to be a mom.  I wrote letters to my future children when I was still in junior high.

I'm in love with the idea of being a runner.  I have started and stopped many times, but my goal is to someday run a 5k with my husband while our kids cheer from the sidelines.

I’m a Fighting Illini super-freak, and probably own more orange Illini tee-shirts than all my other clothing combined.

I love to draw, and nowadays I wish that I devoted as much time to drawing as I did when I was a kid sitting bored out of my mind in English class.

If I could have one superpower…… I wish I could fly.

My favorite baseball player growing up was Don Mattingly.  It was an obsession.

If I could design a dream room for my kids, it would have a spiral slide connecting it to the first floor, a huge vault ceiling painted with the night stars, all the elements of good modern design…and a floor-to-ceiling fish tank filled with glowing jellyfish.

The most interesting place I’ve ever been…. on a scaffold hanging outside the 100th floor of the John Hancock Center.
