Executive Assistant to the President (Full-Time)

The Cradle is looking for a highly organized individual with excellent organization skills. The Executive Assistant will work directly with C Suite executives. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, proficient in MS Suite and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing multiple projects.


  • Schedule meetings, appointments and maintain calendars
  • Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with clients, donors, staff, vendors and others
  • Make arrangements for various meetings, travel, itineraries and related information, maintaining related documentation
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in relationships
  • Assist with presentation and document development
  • Research, prioritize and communicate issues/opportunities as they arise
  • May serve as the President’s representative at meetings and express the President’s viewpoints
  • Completes special assignments which may require collecting, organizing and analyzing data
  • Contact and respond to individuals and inquiries both inside and outside the organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 years of administrative experience
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand the English language expertly
  • Self-starting initiative
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure
  • Possess basic understanding of general accounting principles
  • Excellent administrative writing skills
  • Proficient of Microsoft O365 suite, especially Outlook, Calendar, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Demonstrate exceptional initiative and follow-through skills
  • Demonstrate high level of confidentiality

Business Opportunity Manager (Full Time)

The Cradle is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, goal driven individual with excellent communication skills. This individual will play a key role in identifying and connecting The Cradle with appropriate partners to foster and develop new business opportunities that align with The Cradle’s strategic plan. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, with cold calling experience, and will be responsible for presenting proposals for new business opportunities and partnerships. 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Management of lead flow to include generation of new leads and development
  • Strong relationship builder with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and external clients
  • Proven results exceeding goals in a customer-centric, results-driven environment
  • Ability to build solid relationships by fostering teamwork, partnership and collaboration
  • Strong communication skills (including verbal, non-verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower others to achieve objectives with a team approach
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize and delegate while delivering results

Minimum qualifications:

  • 7+ years of sales experience required
  • Previous experience with business account/client management
  • Cold Calling experience
  • Must be skilled at prospecting and closing
  • Displays passion, commitment and drive to deliver a positive experience to our partners
  • Demonstrates initiative, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to adapt to changing demands and requirements
  • Excellent time management skills is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Child and Family Therapist (Part Time)

The Cradle is seeking a Child and Family Therapist that will demonstrate a strong desire to work collaboratively with families, using a strengths-based approach to improve and enhance family functioning. This position is responsible for providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults using established interventions to address issues related to trauma, loss, identity, and adoption. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, writing treatment plans and progress notes, facilitating workshops and groups, and processing client paperwork and fee payments. 

Requirements include:

  • Commitment to The Cradle’s mission and values
  • Master’s degree in mental health field and a current Illinois license (LCSW/LCPC/LMFT)
  • Training and/or certification in an attachment-focused/trauma-informed specialty
  • 4+ years of post-graduate experience
  • 2+ years of experience in adoption or child welfare
  • Ability to generate a minimum of 12 hours of billable hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling required including afternoons, evenings and weekends for a minimum of 24 hours per week
  • Ability to provide high quality, compassionate and ethical treatment to clients
  • Assists clients to reflect on issues to help them make positive changes
  • Maintains good standing with the appropriate licensing and insurance entities
  • Stays current with updated research and best practices in clinical field
  • Ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Works independently and creates referral network
  • Maintains privacy of all agency information and safeguards its confidentiality at all times
  • Secures and safeguards client information per HIPAA standards and maintains client confidentiality at all times
  • Works productively and positively with individuals in related positions including, but not limited, to other clinical team members, administrative personnel and collaborative contacts in the community
  • Achieves the key performance indicators that are required based on role specific responsibilities and business needs as referenced above
  • Performs other duties as assigned
