Looking for Volunteers for Adoptive Family Weekend

If you’re an adult adoptee, 18 years or older, and looking for a way to connect with the adoption community please consider helping out at The Cradle’s Adoptive Family Weekend. The weekend is over Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2-4, up at the YMCA Minikani in Hubertus, Wisconsin (20 mins north of Milwaukee). The weekend is a time for adoptive families to come together for a fun filled weekend with other adoptive families.

Volunteers help with an hour and half of adoption related discussion and activities each day with the children, and the rest of the time they get to enjoy the camp activities. The curriculum and supplies are provided. Volunteers are paired together to work with a specific age group of children, you can request an age group. Volunteers are welcome to come for the entire weekend or just for a day. If you have a significant other or children please inquire about them coming too, as we can generally be accommodating.

If you are interested please fill out the volunteer form.
