We are honored to be considered as prospective parents in your adoption journey. Our belief is that, “Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life that want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what.” ~Author Unknown.
As high school sweethearts we always thought that one day we would want a family. We both come from mixed heritages, and truly love and embrace the cultural diversity of our relationship and families. We didn’t grow up having everything, in fact, we made it our mission to work really hard for it! Knowing that we have experienced all the good and bad times together, and always found a way to make it work as a team, makes us incredibly proud. We are confident that we have built such an encouraging, fulfilling and loving life together; that we have found our “Happily Ever After.”
Our Neighborhood & Family
Brian and Rhiannon live in a diverse neighborhood in an excellent school district. We both come from mixed racial backgrounds, and have friends from all kinds of different cultures. We want you to know that authentic culture, family traditions, and embracing one’s identity are important to us because it’s how we were raised.
Through open adoption, the child will always have a connection to their history, and will be able to explore their roots. While we know that open adoption looks a bit different for everyone; we hope that you will be willing to find a happy balance with us. We look forward to building a relationship with you, and ongoing communication.
We hope to be the right people to honor this child’s history, and be supportive in their future. Thank you for considering us on your journey to adoption. We wish you great comfort in whatever your decision will be. If you have any questions about us; please feel free to reach out to the Cradle so that we can connect with you.
