Hello!!! We are Joe, John and Noah a fun, loving and active family from the northwest suburbs of Chicago who are excited about expanding our family through open adoption. While we cannot put ourselves in your shoes, we sympathize with what you are going through. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family and our desire to fill a child’s life with unconditional love, support and stability. We understand that you have a difficult decision to make but hope that you find peace in whatever path you decide.
Joe and John have been together for over 16 years. We met in Chicago in the fall of 2002 and initially became friends. It wasn’t until Christmas that year and Joe’s persistence that we started dating and have been together ever since. Even when we first met we talked about how each of us wanted a family someday. We married in September of 2012 with our closest friends and family by our side. In 2014 we welcomed
Noah into the world and were the first ones to hold him. We are an active family who love to travel, spend time on our boat and play outside as much as possible. As parents we look forward to watching our son grow and know in our hearts open adoption is how we would like to expand our family.
We both plan on taking extended family leave from work once our son or daughter arrives. John is fortunate enough to work from home and Joe runs a manufacturing company which gives us a lot of flexibility with our work schedules. This will allow us to spend as much time as possible as a family. Once we return to work we have a wonderful nanny who assist us four days per week.
We understand that openness will be a commitment from both families that will evolve throughout our journey together. We are open to visits, phone calls, text messages, Facebook, e-mail or whatever method is most comfortable for you. Our hope is that we can create this openness together so that it is in the best interest of the child. Whichever way you choose we cannot wait to share milestones with you. Like any new relationship we understand that there will be a period of adjustment for all of us but please know that your son or daughter will always know where they came from. One way we plan on staying in touch is to create a private online page for your child. This will be a great way to share pictures, notes and all “the first’s”.
All About John by Joe
John is an overachiever, who is quick with a comeback and makes me laugh every day. He is one of the most honest and dependable people I know. John works hard at his job but understands the importance of making time for his family and friends. Because of his strong work ethic he has an extremely successful career as an executive in the insurance industry. Even though sometimes he has a tough exterior John has a warm heart and loves to help other people. I love watching him interact with Noah because you see his softer and playful side. John likes to travel and learn about different cultures. Fatherhood has suited John well and I know he is thrilled about welcoming another child into our family.
All About Joe by John
Joe is one of the gentlest and kindest people I have ever met. Whenever a family or friend is in need of something, Joe is always the first to help them out. Volunteering and being close to his family is so important to Joe and I have never met a more humble person. Joe has had a successful career in his family business and his dad would be so proud of what he has become in life. I am always impressed how optimistic Joe looks at life. He is always a trusted companion to all of our friends. Joe is a big softy and enjoys romantic movies as well as getting out and traveling as much as possible. Joe’s connection with Noah is so amazing and I know he is so excited to have another son or daughter.
All About Noah
At 3 years old, our son, Noah, is a smiley, curious and affectionate little boy. Noah has an infectious laugh and beautiful blue eyes. He is our little question man and loves to ride his “big” boy bike. His favorite song to sing in the car is “The Middle” by Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey. Currently, we are working on writing numbers and letters – he can already count to 100. Just the other day he said, “when I grow up I’m going to teach my brother or sister how to swim”. We have been talking with Noah about the responsibilities he will have being a big brother and he can’t wait to have a sibling.
We want to thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family. As parents we have so much to offer and look forward to sharing our love with another child. Our son Noah is excited about becoming a big brother and sharing that special bond with a brother or sister. Our goal is to provide a secure, healthy and loving home for your child and hope you find peace in whatever path you choose.
