Attend an Adoption Info Meeting Near Chicago

If you are a prospective adoptive family, the first step in the adoption process is to attend one of the information meetings listed below.

If you are new to adoption and still wondering about which program may be right for you, the General Adoption meeting is a great place to start. At that meeting we will introduce you to the international and domestic process including our Sayers Center for African American Adoption. We'll talk about the children available for adoption in the US and throughout the world and introduce you to open adoption. At the end of the presentation, we'll take time to answer questions you may have.

At this time, The Cradle is not accepting applications for the Domestic Program. We are accepting applications for Agency Assisted, International, Sayers Center and Special Needs Programs.

Sayers Center meetings are designed and intended for African American families who are specifically interested in adopting an African American child. At these meetings we will go into more depth on the myths and facts about adoption within the African American community.
