Hello!

We’re Jessyca and Malik! Thank you for taking time to learn about us. We know adoption begins with love, and we honor the strength, care and deep reflection behind every step of this journey. Whatever relationship feels right to you, we’re committed to showing up with openness and respect.

Together we are jumping for joy to meet you.

About Us

We first met at a conference and have been sharing life ever since — building a home rooted in deep love, curiosity and care. We live in Chicago, with a second home in Michigan where we spend time in nature and recharge.

Jessyca’s parents live nearby, and we’re surrounded by a village of family and friends who are ready to embrace a child with joy and unconditional support. Our relationship is grounded in honesty, shared laughter and finding magic in everyday life — morning coffee, kitchen dance breaks or reading curled up on the couch.

We’re ready to grow our family through adoption and to raise a child in a home full of love, belonging and celebration.

Hi, I’m Jessyca!

I lead with love. I’m joyful, imaginative and deeply connected to the people around me. I was raised in Chicago by a vibrant community that taught me the importance of care, presence and showing up for others. My family still lives nearby, and they’re a big part of our daily lives — ready to help nurture and support the next generation.

Creativity has always been part of who I am — from theater and dance to storytelling, I’ve found joy and connection through the arts. I now run a mission-driven business focused on healing and transformation, and I bring that same heart and intention into my personal life.

I can’t wait to raise a child surrounded by music, play and wonder — helping them feel safe, cherished and fully themselves.

Jessyca is adventurous.

Hey, I’m Malik!

I’m warm, intentional and deeply grounded in family. I was raised by four generations of women who taught me the value of love, legacy and being present. Family is at the core of everything I do, and I’m grateful that Jessyca’s parents. and our extended village, are close by and eager to be part of this child’s life.

I’m a designer and educator, and I bring thoughtfulness and creativity into everything I do — whether it’s working on a city plan, leading a class or making a big breakfast on a Sunday morning. I love cooking, learning and slowing down to enjoy the small moments.

I’m excited to help raise a child with confidence, curiosity and a deep sense of belonging.

Malik is creative.
